Bob Reese is a life long Republican that earned the 1996 Republican nomination for Texas State Senator in District 2. Bob is a successful businessman and family man living in East Texas.

Bob and his wife Connie support President George W Bush and his lovely wife Laura. While serving as Governor of Texas in August of 1996, Mr. Bush said "Bob Reese's traditional values in defense of Texas families and Texas business represent the type of leadership we need in the Texas legislature."

Bob previously served on the State Republican Executive Committee, as Vice-President of the Republican Club of Van Zandt County, and has voluntarily taught many campaign schools to help elect other Republicans all across Texas

Texas Governor Rick Perry, while serving as Texas Agriculture Commissioner in 1996, joined the Reese family during a campaign event raising funds and rallying volunteers for Bob's Texas Senate race
